TDShp, a brand dedicated to equipping artists and designers with high-end tools, challenged us to capture that invisible magic in a visual identity. It wasn’t just about selling easels or portfolios, but about designing the visual skin of a silent companion on the creative journey.

At GraphicStones, we believe that an artist’s tools should not only be functional, but also inspiring. That’s why, when TDShp—a brand dedicated to equipping creators with high-quality products—reached out to us, we knew this project wasn’t just about design: it was about empowering those who bring ideas to life.

The challenge: More than a logo, a symbol of trust

TDShp needed an identity that resonated with both demanding professionals and passionate amateurs. The art supply market is saturated with generic options, but what was missing was a brand that combined technical precision with a creative soul. How to convey seriousness without rigidity? How to stand out on tiny labels and digital screens at the same time? And above all, how to make every artist feel that TDShp was their ally with every stroke?

Solution

Together with the TDShp team, we explored a bold concept: “Tools that speak your creative language.” We started with a modern typeface (Square Sans Serif 7), but gave it a human twist: We balanced its proportions to reflect both solidity and fluidity.
The monogram was our secret gem. By merging the letters “S” and “P” into an organic curve, we created an abstract silhouette that suggests a stylized face—a nod to the intimate connection between the artist and their tools. This symbol functions as a seal of authenticity: on packaging, labels, or social media, it evokes quality without saying a word.
The deep navy palette not only communicates confidence, but acts as a versatile canvas: bright on light backgrounds, elegant on dark ones. To ensure consistency, we designed a flexible system: the logo displays its minimalism in large spaces, while the monogram becomes a discreet yet memorable emblem on smaller products.

Details that inspire great works

Each element underwent a rigorous “studio test”: Does it work on a paint-stained easel? In the corner of a digital portfolio? We researched luxury brand and contemporary art references, while always keeping a practical focus. The result is an identity that doesn’t compete with art, but rather enhances it.
